What the hell happened?

Holy crap! Last month must have flown by! It hardly seems like it's been a month and a half since my last post, but it feels like it's been a couple of days. Maybe now I'll have the few regular readers if my weblog off my back, if for only a little while.

Where do I begin? Work's been pretty hectic. I've been running around like the proverbial chicken without it's head, especially since the boss has been in the hospital the past two weeks. Now, with all the abdominal surgery he's had, it's probably going to be at least another two months before he gets back and things start returning to some semblance of order. Fortunately, the office is closed on Sunday, otherwise I'd be working seven days a week, rather than the six that I'm doing now. Man, do I need a vacation. And it's only May!!!

I've been seeing this woman for a couple of weeks, so that's been taking up a lot of my free time after work. She's okay, I suppose, if a bit smothering. Part of me likes the attention, but, I dunno, do I really need her calling me five or more times a day? And, in all actuality, the calls I don't mind, it's the hard time she gives me when we're together or talking. I've told her repeatedly that she needs to knock it off, but being blunt doesn't seem to work. Maybe I need to be a little more succinct. Like a baseball bat across her noggin...

I've been meaning to get out to see Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. A lot of my online friends say it's a good flick. But, again, I just haven't had the time. I did, however, finally get to see National Treasure. For a young adult's film, it was pretty good. Normally, I like Nicholas Cage, but for some reason, he seemed pretty wooden in this role. It was like somebody was doing a bad impression of him acting like Fox Mulder on his obsession kick. The cinematography, however, was excellent, as was the sound. The storyline was easy to follow, too, but perhaps too easy. But, like I mentioned earlier, it was a movie geared for the younger crowd. I'd probably give it a 6.5 out of 10. Not great, but not bad, either.

I finished Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Well, at least the main storyline and a lot of the bonus stuff. My stats say I'm like 62% completed, so I don't know whether I should just walk away from it and wait until next month when San Andreas comes out for the PC or keep pegging away at it. Maybe I'll wait and see what happens.

Anyway, that's about all that's been going on with me. I'm counting down the days until Revenge of the Sith comes out. But it doesn't have the same intensity as it did when I waited for Phantom Menace (jeez, that was a fuckin let down!). I suppose it's because I'm thinking in the back of my mind that it's going to suck. Well, if it does, I think I'm going to see if a lawyer will help me sue George Lucas. I can see it now: Your Honor, my client is suing Mr Lucas on the grounds of ineptitude and suckiness.

God, I need food. I'm becoming delusional.

That's it for now. Peace!
