Hmmm...Things looking up???
After a few weeks hiatus, between work and spending time with my son, I'm finally getting around to updating this thing. A lot has happened in the news, what with that whole Schiavo media circus, the Pope being deathly sick and all, but I've decided to keep my blog about me and the things that are going on in my life.
When my brother, Kevin, was here last week, he brought down his PS2 for some more righteous gaming with GTA: San Andreas. On the way back from picking up my son, we stopped at the mall, where he pointed out GTA: Vice City for the PC to me. At 20 bucks, I couldn't go wrong! Needless to say, it's easy to see that it's the predecessor to San Andreas, what with the smaller scale city, hexagonal graphics and such, but it's already provided me and Ryan hours of fun. And I love the fact that I can import my own MP3s into the game. That totally rocks! I hope when Rockstar Games releases San Andreas for the PC in June, it'll have that feature, too.
I've also been checking out the matchmaking service websites and have been having a pretty good time with it. There is a woman I've been messaging for the past few days and we're hitting it off pretty well. I am, however, going to take things slow, so I can get to know her and stuff. She lives pretty close, about an hour away or so, which is a lot better than some of the others that this service has been trying to match me with, most of whom live in other states. Anyway, I hope things go well and I don't screw it up again.
Aside from that, it's been a pretty good couple of weeks. Hopefully, I won't take as long to post next time.
