It's a < insert title here > day
Thursday, 3:05pm
Outside sunny and clear, temp. 27 degrees/10 degrees wind chill factor
Huzzah! I had my phone interview with York Technical this morning and it left me rather excited about the prospect of going back to school after all these years. The woman gave me some background about the facility and surrounding areas and was very open to my questions. All in all, the interview was about half an hour. I'll be getting the booklets and packet in a couple of days.
It looks like I'm going to be enrolling in the classes starting in October, which should give me ample time to get things squared away down here. It will also give me enough time to look for work in Pennsylvania and figure out living arrangements.
The nice thing about it, too, is that classes are four days a week and five hours a day, which leaves me plenty of time to work and study, but more so, work. My bills aren't going to stop just because I'm going back to school.
Speaking of which, I need to get my butt into gear and check out grants and loans and stuff, because it's not going to be cheap in the least. I'm looking at almost 40K that I'm going to have to come up with to do this. I'll get it done.
Anyway, I'm super excited about this. More to come.
