Random thoughts

It's been two days since my last post and it's all same ole, same ole with me. I've spent about 5 hours on the phone with my friend, Erik, played lazy slug yesterday, worked a bit today, added a goodly chunk of songs to my MP3 playlist (mostly techno/industrial in flavor) and generally slacked off.

In case you hadn't noticed, I did add a picture of myself to the profile section of my blog. Not a terribly great one, but not a bad one, either. Just me.

I talked to my girl friend a little bit yesterday morning, as well. It went very well - keeping things on a platonic level for the most part. I'd still like to be romantically involved with her, but I'll take it as I can get it. I've spent 7 plus years with her out of my life - I don't want to risk losing her again.

On a positive note, I have a pre-entrance interview/phone conference set for Thursday morning with York Technical Institute to see about going back to school for computer sciences or something similar. The woman I talked to this afternoon informed me that there were a few new classes that were going to be available in the summer that weren't definitely scheduled yet. She said she would have more information on Thursday for me.

Work is work. I am, however, getting very frustrated with the office manager and his wife. Aside from their seperation, which is getting on my nerves, because, since they both work in the office, it gets brought into work, where it defintely doesn't belong, he's missing a lot of work to go to doctor's appointments, therapist's appointments and dental appointments. Not that I mind him going. Hell, I hope he gets better. But, dammit, schedule these for times when you're not working!! His job is not getting done, which shifts a lot of it onto me, and, with me now starting the document/record destruction part of the job, I'm not in the office as much as I used to be.

I think I need a vacation, and I just had one three months ago...
